Cotto and Hatton

Sorry then,if you guys have seen him fight and think he's that good my bad then.Are he a top contender right now or just an opponent? Anyway I really want the Cotto-Hatton fight.I'm a big fan of both for long time but my heart tell me Cotto would be to much for him. He could easily be top 10 but he does get lazy at times which may hold him back.

I think Cotto and Hatton are both done with "flunkie fights". If Cotto starts to pull the sh1t that hatton has been pulling, he will lose his fan base too. Early 2005, we will start to see some real fights. BTW if one of them fight Mitchell, will you say that Mitchell is washed up and that Tszu ruined him? I doubt the Tszyu loss will make any difference to Mitchell, i think he'd be as tough(if not tougher) against Hatton or Cotto. He could make a statement by beating the divisons best new talents. He's fighting to save a top flight career.

I think Cotto needs a couple more flunkie fights before he takes on a big name at all Yeah, Just to be safe. I think Cotto has the skills now but it wont hurt giving him some target practice before he makes a major move in the divison. Maybe someone like Urkal.

Ok,but how good Magge compared to Zoo,Cotto,Maywheather and even Hatton??? not even in their league IMO. I dont see many of them stopping him, i doubt even Tszyu could stop him!! I think they would all beat him but not without a hard fight. IMO Magee would have beaten Mitchell before he got injured, its a shame that fight didnt happen.

He's currently recovering from being kidnapped and having both of his legs broken in Ireland. He was robbed in Germany in his other biggest fight against Urkhal, who took Harris to a split decision. If you've not seen him fight how can you have an opinion on what league he's in?

We've been through this on another thread. Because you don't who Magee is you think he's a nobody? Ask people in the know about him and you'll get the true picture. The guy is a sharp counter puncher with real power and a good defence, and hard as nails. It was a flash kd and Hatton dominated the fight after that. Ok,but how good Magge compared to Zoo,Cotto,Maywheather and even Hatton??? not even in their league IMO.

Cotto's defence last night was tight.He did took a big right hand in the chin and wasn't hurt at all so the guy have a good chin IMO.As far of hatton,if i recall correctly the guy how knock him down for the first time was a nowbody but in the first round his counter punching was great and he hurt hatton a couple of times.imagine how a guy with a sharpe speed,power,defense and great couterpunching would do to him.This fight would not go to the distance.Cotto will TKO him within 6 rounds. Your seriously underating Eamon Magee if you call him a good boxer never mind a nobody!! Magee's very good boxer who's mixed with better fighters than Cotto has. IMO Cotto would beat Magee but its would be a good test, maybe his hardest to date.

Do you speak Spanish? I do. I heard what Cotto said and not what that dumb-ass Ray Torres misinterpreted. Cotto said that Bailey's right HURT him on several occasions. Totally true that bastard named Ray Torres suck as an interpreter.Most times he changes and misinterpretes the boxers or corner when he translates from English to Spanish and viseversa.People who speak both idioms know it.

Hatton v Cotto would be great. I've only seen Cotto's fight against Pinto and there were a few flaws there, as there are in Hatton's game. He did look very powerful though. Too close to call.

I disagree. IMHO Cotto won every round and was never hurted. On the interview, he said that he felt his rights (not that he was hurt by them). From what I have heard & readed, Corley will be his next opponent. Do you speak Spanish? I do. I heard what Cotto said and not what that dumb-ass Ray Torres misinterpreted.
