I mean both of these were tagged as the future of the HW division and now they are seen as overhyped media jobs.
I say a fight between them would seriously define where each fighter is at this point in their career.
The loser should retire!
it doesnt matter guinn has no power.
Guinn has pretty good power. He had Lyakhovich hurt many times during the fight, but each time he let him recover istead of trying to KD him.
i think guinn would KO wlad, because Wlad would push the action and make guinn fight, and guinn is very good when he actually fights, and very powerful with a strong chin. i wouldn't put my money on this though, because his heart is one of the weakest i've ever seen. people say wlad has a weak heart, i disagree he just has a weak chin, he always trys to get up and continue to fight. i still can't beleive he went down from Touch of sleep
In TOS fight, Wlad touched the floor with one knee momentarily after being caught off balance. That was a fluke KD.
While Wlad does not seem to have Vitali's chin, his chin is not that bad. The Sanders loss was due to inexperience of fighting when hit by a huge puncher. After the first KD, Wlad should have focused on the defense better, instead he tried to attack Corrie. I think Vitali has much more experience, having gone through years of kickboxing tournaments where people get "punched" with legs. In the Sanders fight, Vitali got hit by some nasty punches, but he made sure that they do not accumulate too much in a short time span. So "chin" is a combination of the ability to take a single punch and the ability to avoid getting the rest of them.
The Brewster loss seemed more of a stamina problem. I have no idea what happenned there. It could be doping-related (I hope not!) or health-related. I do not think it was from a KD.
Wlad would beat Guinn. From what I heard the lazy don't want to do anything in the ring version of Guinn from the Barrett fight showed up last night. Guinn lacks the killer instinct he needs to win and if he doesn't do anything in the ring against Wlad he will lose easily.

Maybe Wladimir should fight Byrd? Then again Byrd would never allow that to happen.
...Your right about that. That would be one fight that Wlad would be guaranteed to win and be in zero danger. No way Byrd would take that fight. I would give 10-1 odds on that fight.

....The big difference between Wlad and Guinn is that Wlad's trainer still has confidence in him. When your own trainer calls you lazy and is puzzled by your work ethic in the ring then I say you have absolutely no future. Sounded like they have already thrown in the towel on Guinn. He has no fire whatsoever and Wlad would easily beat him. Guinn would be a step for Wlad and fight he does not need that does nothing for him.
what happen 2 these guys, i though wladimir was gonna be the new heavyweight and and so was guinn damn what happen. One won't throw a punch and other has been cracked.
lol close
one wont throw = guinn
one throws to much = wlad
Because beatting Guinn would prove anything. If his team decides not to fight a top 10 heavyweight in his next fight, Lyakhovich would be a better fight.

What happened was, that they got exsposed for the real problems they both have.
No confidence, no heart, and they don't have the mentality to be a champion.
Plus Wlad's china chin.

then winner faces micheal grant for the undisputed title of
"What Could Have Been"
yes a remtach between guinnn and grant would still be needed
I agree, but not the undisputed title of "What Could Have Been"
but rather...
"What Never Was"
