I just checked out www.boxingtalk.net and their new pound for pound top 20. They rated Chris Byrd as 17 pound for pound best and Vitali Klitscko isn`t on the list. Now, i realize that Byrd beat Klit a threw years back on an injury but come on, Klit was winning, it was a fluke. The only other heavyweight on the list was James Toney at number 12. I can live with Toney being on the list but again, Klitscko should be acknowledged as the best heavyweight. Just to make sure it isn't just me, i will run a poll and see what people think about the heavyweights around today!

Because Chris Byrd is a natural Middleweight and like it or not holds a win over Klitschko. Call it BS but a win is a win otherwise he probably would've retired after the loss to Oquendo. I'm a member at boxingtalk and consider it the most knowledgeable boxing website on the net. G Leon is the Man!!!!
meaning when you make a "pound for pound list" you are incoporating that person's overall skills as a boxer regardless of his weight class. Someone who is smaller but has shown he is a force across divisions, like Maywheather Jr, or have displayed consistent excellent at one weight class are usually in the upper PFP rankings.
Vitali Klitschko is very big but has shown to be far from dominant and for him to even be considered PFP he would have to dominate the HWs for a while as well as show considerable boxing skill. Which he has not.
I totally agree with this. Nautlis has no idea what P4P means.
What is this ranking based on? Skills? In terms of skills, Chris Byrd is way better than V Klit, but also in terms of skills, James Toney is ahead of both
Who wins, Jirov or Vit?
I will cheer for Jirov just a bit more than for Vitali.
I hope friendship wins.
I can't tell you who wins since Tanya will get upset at me.
Naut, you should save your Klit arguments onto a Word file so you can cut and paste. It must be time consuming to have to defend your boy all the time. Or maybe a sticky to link new members to....
it is just a couple of words, not a big deal
Jirov is my fav fighter

the poll shows otherwise

Chris Byrd in my book, Vitali might have fought a valiant fight in lewis but what ranks him the better man???
Chris Byrd has fought the opposition and If we are going to judge a fighter by his losses than John Ruiz ;)
Chris Byrd best heavyweight we have yet to see....You dont have to be knocking out big sloppy tit white boys to be a great heavyweight....
Muhammad Ali didnt do it and he is considered "great" and Byrd is so damnc lose to Ali...

из всех перечисленных боксеров одним из самых неплохих является Крис Берд и Джеймс Тони. Первый, потому что легко справится с остальными кроме Тони.
