I would love to see Barrera vs. Pac. II
I would be rooting for Barrera, but I'm inclined to wonder if maybe Manny's style is just one of those match-up problems for Marco? Sometimes fighters are just to bad of a matchup style wise for some to overcome. It was strange to me that in their first meeting Barrera never seemed to see Pac's str8 left coming. Either way Barrera showed tonight why he is a true champion what a way to win the rubbermatch!
BOOOM! No Pacman for El Terrible in a while. Barrera-Pacman 2,lets get it on!
i wonder if barrera can bring that to pacman, i havent seen it but he sounded determined, yo pac i know ur going to get the fight, hook me up with it :D
Barrera and Morales already fought 24rounds so they know what to expect from one another. If it last 12rds,Barrera will get the decision but if anyones gonna get Kayoed,it's gonna be Barrera.

judging by their recent performances, you would think morales will win. i think it will go to the scorecards cuz these fighters know each other very well, having gone 24 rounds already
M.A.B. by KO
Going with a hunch on this, all logic says not a chance but it just seems that Barrera fights out of this world when he is supposed to lose, or when everyone says he's finished and that Morales has more fight left in him. And judging by the pics of the weigh-in Marco looks to be in incredible shape, Morales looks great also, maybe it's just the pics I saw but Morales looks skinnier than usual like he is planning on trying to outbox and avoid the smaller Barrera.
By the way: I watched the replay of their first war, and it made me realize again how much of an impact a great ref. can have in a fight. Mitch Halpurn(sp?) was amazing in that fight, so much so that half the time I forgot that he was even in the ring! Alot of refs nowadays seem to wanna take control of fights by being too involved, many of them should watch Moralesvs.Barrera I to see how to ref a big fight without being involed to much! Damn shame about Halpern, he was well on his way to becoming the best ref in the sport!
i think barrera will win by UD or late KO, barrera looks ready, focused and he looks in terrific shape, the best ive seen him in a long time. i cant see why so many people are writing barrera off. barreras used to being the underdog and hes gonna shock so many people when he beats el terrible.
your right about the ref mitch halpurn, he was a fantastic ref in the first fight, he was just watchin barrera and morales go to war, he hardly got involved and thats how a ref should be. he was most probably watchin the fight like us that day, as a fan :)
what happened to mitch halpurn by the way? you say he was gonna become the best ref in boxing?? did anything happen to him o did he just retire???
Keep an eye on Ivan Calderon he's another great boxer from PR...

look at calderon compared to fajardo.

I'll take Morales by D. But I think it will be a split/ majority D, with one of the judges either calling it a draw or for Barrera. The past two editions tell me, judges don't often see fights the way most fans do. ;)
Anyhow,it would be pretty close; I think most of us here concede as much, whether one goes for Morales or Barrera.
Whoever wins on top of the ring, however, will not be as big a winner as we (fans) will be and the sport of boxing. We live for matches like this, don't we? ;)
I have an urge to bet that it would be a strong Fight of the Year contender. Even more, I believe that when fans of the next generation count the best trilogies, Morales-Barrera will be right there...perhaps just a shade south of the Gatti-Ward series. ;)
Ain't we lucky to be here at this time! :D
A close and maybe controversial draw. I think, that the fight will be better then the second fight but not so good then fight one. It will be a toe to toe war and both fighters will touch the canvas.

to much boxing in my head dreamt that the fight was handily won by EM - UD, fight was not even close....
even with the premonition, I am still going for the underdog...MAB
I think it'll be another close decision.Everything looks best for Morales, but with these two guys, you throw all that out the window. I can't imagine either guy giving enough to the other to allow for even a one sided decision, let alone a knock out. You gotta love it when two guys just refuse to like each other...
