When will Ruiz be disposed of?

I wish just someone could take his belt and get rid of him, i think Toney and Byrd can beat him on points, but id prefer one of the Klitschko`s fight him cause they are capable of utteerrly desrtoying him.

the only way don king can sell "hugster louise" is on one of those 18 fight cards and just slip him in somewhere. the only shitty thing is now that everyone dislikes him so much, that everyone is going to watch and see if he loses, which is going on some small level make him a draw until he does....i noticed that non of the fighters he fights complains about the excessive hugging. i know i would, i'd tell the ref "WTF? is this a fight, or a dry humping contest!!!!!"

I don't know about you guys but "Huggy Bear" has got to be the funniest nickname in boxing. LMFAO!!! It's so true though, he's ugly to watch but he keeps on winning so good on him for that I guess.

Maybe when he fights someone that isn't shot (Golota, Rahman, Holyfield) or a bum (Oquendo).

when/if toney ever gets a hold of him I would gaurentee he beats Toney because of there styles. Toney goes to the ropes and slides punches. But as seen in the Booker fight he his very easy to grab onto. Ruiz would grind out another Win! And Toney would call him a fag for huggin him all night!. LOL!

as soon as he fights someone with enough speed and will to unclinch and hit him right before, during, and immediately aftetr a clinch. Someone with the intensity like an in shape Tyson, for example. Tua desposed of him fairly easily. :D As soon as he fights Vitali he'll be disposed of, or maybe even Byrd. He does have some power so someone with a weak chin needs to be very weary.

I agree, Toney`s style is perfect against Ruiz and he would surely stop him, probably late in the fight but it would be one sided. I think Chris Byrd would beat him on points as he would be able to hit him and move enough to avoid Ruiz`s loving hugs. I don`t think it`ll be a top guy though, i think Rahman can beat Ruiz on a good day and Lamon Brewster`s power would give him a chance to win too.

when/if toney ever gets a hold of him i think this is the world's best chance at disposing of John "huggy bear " Ruiz, if he fights Toney ( Please God, i want to see this! ), JT will destroy him, and definitely win the fight but probably not the decision. Hopefully, Toney will as i heard someone else say " counter Ruiz into retardation " and maybe even stop him late. Holyfield definitely got some brain damage from taking all Toney's shots to head, Ruiz might decide to retire after he gets beatdown by james Toney. i'd sure love to see Toney holding the WBA belt

As for me it's not hatred I respect the man and have nothing against him personally...but his fights are truly horrible to watch he reminds me somehow of Sven Ottke who retired undefeated. He beat Byron mitchell, Robin Reid and many tough guys by either doing grappling match/getting gift decisions. He was always giving horrible fights to watch.

So much hatred for Ruiz. Will you respect him more when he beats Brewster or Byrd?

John Ruiz will be disposed of when chris byrd and/or vitali decide to unify the belts and knock him out. Us boxing fans surely dont want to watch another ruiz fight that ends with him winning a bore fest, wrestling match, controversial decision. :mad:
