I agree that prime Tyson was of a way higher level than holyfield.
Not comparing it to anybody...Tyson had good years but wasted most of his career, so in the end he could have done much better, so did not have a good career.
Holyfield got about everything possible out of his career and achieved the maximum possible. He had a very good career.
 :D
More shortly:
- the warrior got my respect for all his achivements.
- Tyson was phenomenal, but is a sucker for throwing his talent away.
I think so, if the 5 good years you had were phenomenal. That said, it still doesn't beat 15 consistently good years (i.e. Holyfield's career).

Would he have stopped than, maybe yes. But about the rest of his career he WASTED (!), due lack of training and all the other stuff.
If you waste most of your career, can it be called a good career?

Tyson was the most electrifying fighter we've seen in recent times, but a phenomenal 5 years does not beat a great 15 years.

Holyfield by far. He got the maximum possible out of his career (and at the moment probably tries to get too mucht out of it).
Tyson under achieved to the possibilities he had. Him and Kevin Rooney splitting up, and Tyson skipping training was the road downwards. Jail did not help either.
Holyfield easily. Holyfield was seen as the most respected fighter of the 80's and 90's, while Tyson was seen as an underachieving side show. Holyfield had heart, Tyson frequently was discouraged.
I also voted for Holy, just hope he does not fight anymore, dont want to see him to get hurt...
for tyson, i like to see him get up on his feet again, i dont how, but i'd like to see that..
Holyfield....
He dominated at Cruiser.....bulked up.....& then went onto the heavyweights where he has been involved in some of the best fights that division has ever seen.
He beat Tyson's ass.....& never was the in & out of the ring disgrace Tyson has been.
IMO Holy has done more than Tyson. Not only did he beat Tyson but he has stayed competitive a lot longer than Mike. I know Mike went to jail, but thats reality.
