Here's a four-step solution to fixing the Heavyweight situation:
1. Never let Holyfield fight again.
2. Burn the WBO Belt.
3. Ruiz "fights" Byrd. NOTE: I did not say "boxes" Byrd.
4. Winner of Ruiz-Byrd faces Vitali, if he hasn't been KO'd by a second-tier fighter by that time.
de la hoya could use that technique where he runs away some more...but i'd love to see that pretty face of his get beat up, any way on the subject i'd love to see jirov win some more credibility as a heavy weight. he's fun to watch even when he loses. And if tarver moved up jirov would be a good fight. though i don't think everyone moving up to heavy weight since it has been so lax will continue much longer the giants will take over eventually. (roy jones started a fad moving to hw just to beat up ruiz)
My fix for boxing would be much like ejk's. Cept in my version, the rookie pros like Calvin Brock, Owen Beck, Jean-Francois Bergeron, and Audley Harrison finally get tested and some of them even succeed.
My fix for the division would be to have Don King assassinated by a crazy Polish fan and that norman stone and the piece of shit ruiz would get killed in a car accident. Then things in boxing would get a million times better.
