Byrd deserved to win the fight with McCline, despite losing some of the early rounds and even being knocked down.
John Ruiz did not deserve to be up on all cards after losing three points during the fight. I almost shat myself when the cards were read.
David Tua, where are you?
they fuc***k my country in the ass, damn!~!! Gołota should sue Jadges at Court, Kwaśniewski should sue Bush for "Multiple violence on Poland"
Hey man I am as big a fan of Golota as anyone else is but there is no reason for you to come on here and turn this into a "I hate America" thread and talk shit about our President. Stick to Golota getting fucked by Don King and the judges.
Goddamn it when all you stubborn posters want it your way or the highway! Most of you think that your opinion is the right one. Fuck it if you don't like Ruiz or if Golota never wins a belt, that is not even the damn point. I could not care less if Golota was robbed against Byrd and now you feel sorry for him again. If you disagree with me, so be it! I don't give a fuck but I hate when someone wants to put it like his or her opinion is a fact.
show me a single fighter that has clinched as much as ruiz and not been dq'd

I have no idea what you're talking about. It looks like you picked a suitable screen name though.
If you're talking about the times I said that John Ruiz held more times than he landed punches, that's not my opinion, that's a numerical fact. If you're talking about the time I said that Ruiz lied about getting hit low in the second Holyfield fight, that's not my opinion, that's qualitative fact. If your're talking about the time that I said Henry Akinwande got DQ'd for holding and Ruiz didn't, that too is fact. The opinion bit in what I typed was when I said that it's not unfair for a ref to be biased against Ruiz.
Well if you have 30 people discussing the same topic and out of the thirty 28 lean towards one way and just 2 lean the other, then in my book it is pretty unanimous.

The referee was awful. He deducted a point from Ruiz without warning. Golota was hitting behind the head all night long and never got a point taken away. Besides the second knockdown was clearly a slip. Yes, there were some punches but the replay showed that they were not clean and the fall was a slip. Anyway, I had the fight 113-112 for Ruiz.
People aren't gonna like this, but I don't particularly care.
Even if it's true that the ref was awful, and I don't agree with you, it's time for someone to do something about Ruiz. He is a fucking CANCER. If a ref is being biased against Ruiz, I say it's about time. I think ring officials have been too lenient with Ruiz since the Tua fight, letting him manhandle his opponents like he fights in the WWE. If Henry Akinwande could be disqualified for excessive holding, Ruiz should have been DQ'd about six or seven times now. He initiated clinches 65, count 'em, 65 more times than he landed a punch against Golota alone!
He's not a boxer, he's a whiny sack of shit and a puss. Every time someone hits him in the body he acts like he's been fouled. If you need proof, look at the second Holyfield fight. Ruiz goes down from a fair punch to the body, and would have been knocked out if it weren't for the fact that he convinced the ref that he'd been hit low. It was all bull shit, just like Ruiz' reigns as champion.

oh, so you accidentally missed Ruiz rabbit punching as well as him clinching more times than he landed punches? fuck that, no way Ruiz won that fight
2nd KO was def. not a good call though.
Actually, it was a good call. If you watch it again, you will see golota hit him with a vicious shot to the body. Ruiz bent over and tried to hug Golota, but Golota twisted away and Ruiz completed the fall.
There was another body shot knockdown in the 10th (?) (the signal was "copyrighted" so I couldn't record it on my DVD-R), but the ref was behind Golota and didn't see the punch, so it was ruled a slip. The camera was behind Ruiz, so you can't see it clearly, but you can see Golota's shoulder move hard, then Ruiz hitches and goes down. If you feel that the 2nd KD wasn't justified, then this one makes up for it.

The Ref. did give a warning, he said he would take a point away from the next guy that fouled. After that, Golota showed restraint when the ref. said stop and Ruiz didnt. There was some rough tactics from both fighters throughout the fight, like both guys fighting after the bell, hitting behind the head, etc. but this fight was inherently dirty. Golota showed good control though by not hitting on the breaks when the ref said stop. 2nd KO was def. not a good call though. Still, I think it was a horrible call by the judges and I gotta feel sorry for Golota. Its unbelievable that he can come so close so many times and never once win a title.
Ruiz did come back strong during the last 5 or so rounds and he did give Golota a vicious cut...but man he was knocked down twice and deducted a point...I can't really see how all 3 judges gave the fight to Ruiz. I was shocked!
You're right I think. To have him up by that much with the point deductions meant the judges pretty much gave him EVERY round. That is disgusting.
i could see both fights going either way. btw i told yall ruiz was going to win. he should fight vitali next and byrd should fight rahman. winners fight eachother

I agree fully.
