be rooting for my boy Byrd. I truly hope that he KOs Ruiz and takes him out of the HW title picture. I really don't like Ruiz, I've tried, lord knows I have, but the man is horrible for boxing and any sane fan should root for Golota to destroy Ruiz. Golota is way more talented and he deserves a title for his effort against Byrd. This man could and will be a champion. GO GOLOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. My apologizes to any Ruiz fans out there!

I think you know that Ruiz would beat Byrd. Golota beat Byrd 115-113 on my card. Oquendo beat Byrd 117-111 on my card and Ruiz KO'd Fres the next fight. That logic doesn't work when picking a winner, but it's food for thought. Golota deserves a title for his effort against Byrd - the IBF title, that he should have won that night in April.

Well boxing fans, I am sad to report that we will be forced to deal with John Ruiz even more after Saturday night's fight against Golota. Ruiz is now guaranteed to win the fight Saturday night because they just announced that fat-boy Randy Neumann will ref the fight. Old fat-boy has a hard-on for Golota and he allows Ruiz to use his illegal tactics during his fights. It's just too bad it had to end this way for Golota.

im going for ruiz. everytime he beats a top quality opponent it cements my boy roy's legacy. ruiz is boring and very hard to watch and he should never be a main event on ppv but he has worked hard and deserves everything he gets. why change your style if it works :cool:

I too will be rooting for Golota, Ruiz has got to be the most boring Champion ever. I actually thought Golota had done enough to win against Byrd but there you go!
