Terrible Morales VS Pacquiao. may 27/05

I agree seeing a punch land on TV and taking one are two different things but I think the thread starter just wanted a reaction from us. He is obviously a Pac fan. This is the fight I most want to see because it will be exciting to watch. Look, you have a veteran who has been there in Morales and a young cat looking for a chance at the crown in Pacquiao. Eric in my opinion looks like a fighter who fights to the level of his competition which would be very dangerous for a fighter like Pacquiao. If Pac-man try's to make this into a slug fest rather than respect Morales' power he will be in for a rude awakening. But this is what makes this fight a great matchup so many different possiblities about the outcome. I hope this fight takes place soon , I'll be watching.

Erick Morales in all of his fights, he always gets de worse part of the damage, even in all of his victories,but he has never faught someone as strong and dangerous like pacquiao,EM wins the fights, but he takes to many blows, if he wants to beat the pacman fighting like that, !!He is going down!!! But I respect all of ya oppinions. Really? What gave you that impression? You really believe that Pacquiao is stronger than Daniel Zaragoza, Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez, and In-Jin Chi? I don't. Pac's strong, now doubt, but Erik Morales has seen virtually everything there is to see, and if there's one thing that's going to trouble Morales, it's Pac-man's speed and power, not his strength.

Just assuming as you have opined, that should Morales lose to Barrera...Pacquiao definitely will have a solid chance of beating him as well. Of course, we're just speculating here. ;)

He's never been dropped, and I can't remember a time he was seriously hurt. And he generally fights extremely good competition. The weakest guy he's faced in the past several years was Eddie Croft. That was unacceptable, but apart from that, his opponents have been chamionship quality. Well...apart from maybe Bobby Boy Velardes. But that was about getting revenge, so it's acceptable. Oh, and he does have decent defense.
