if Tito were to fight Winky Wright at 160, he would lose in very poor fashion. that being said, he will lose 9 out of 10 times to Hopkins.....actually both, Hopkins and Wright! he is one dimensional, with a big punch. Hopkins would eat him up again, and Winky would have him so frusturated he would probably quit! Tito is good, granted, but he is easily out boxed! he's just smoke and mirrors!, with properly choosen opposition.....( to make him look great).. and it was a gift against DLH and i don't really care for DLH, but i have respect for all tried and ture fighters!
I would much rather see Oscar and Tito fight now than a Trinidad Vs. Hopkins. Hopkins has been getting a big name fighting smaller opponents let him make a move up and try and challenge a Tarver or even Johnson.
ya
ppl are talking so much shit and this fight might never happen...u guys give so much credit to DLH for fighting Nard and don't give the same credit to Tito for doing the same 3 yrs ago...Tito is one of the best fighters of our era...like DLH, Jones, Tyson, and Bernard. I'm just happy to see that he is back again in the scene..we needed someone like him to give the sport some excitement...He fought a dangerous fighter in Mayorga...Mayorga might not be a legit middleweight, but the guy looked strong as hell at 158...Anyone that saw the fight knows that it was one of the best this year. I beleived that Nard is a dangerous opponent for Tito, but that's what makes Tito so great..he always looks for the big fights.
then why wont he have a rematch with tha golden boy
Wait a minute , slow the Trinidad roll just a little. Yes his win against smack talking iron chinned Mayorga was impressive... but Mayorga is a welterweight and Mayorga stood in front of Trinidad the whole fight. He even dared Trinidad to land a solid blow to his chin which I think did him in to start it off. Hopkins is a smart fighter and adapts very well to his opponent. In my opinion the fight would not be very different from the first fight. Hopkins just to big and comfortable at the middleweight division to get beat by any smaller fighters.
ya
this is tha stupidest forum i've ever seen
you cant even put hopkins n tito in tha same sentence
tito beat a smoking, drinking, slugger who came to 160 from 147 to fast
oh and lets not forget that bs wher he was ranked number one for beat a good welterweight..come on plz...i hope tito starts acting right and fights real and good fights..atleast winky when winky wins....he was owned..he dont deserve a rematch
Mayorga-Tito was exciting and that's all. It was fun to see Tito agin, showing that he can dish it out. Man, I love his Killer Finish. But, that fight means squat in the Middle scene.
And, Tito-Mayorga isn't gonna' be anything like Hops-Tito II.
i am a fan of both of these but fact is fact
tito can not beat hopkins..he's made for him (but he does preform better then dlh against him) and will lose everytime...every fighter has that one person they cant beat...hopkins is fighting eastman next people!!crap..think about it...tito has spinks or mosley (if he wins) in mind next...come on (good money but will not prove anything)...he's perparing for a hop rematch with boxers that arnt even middleweights...he's gonna beko'ed and even sooner when he goes in there with hopkins and feels true MW power again..and if tito wins great for him...i do have to say i loved the old tito...i dont like the new custom eyebrow bitch tito..but either way the rematch will be great..i just hope tito prepares well..i mean dammit tito fight sturm or a true MW atleast
i will say this if tito ko's or beat hopkins i will applause him..but if he gets layed out earlier then last time i will LMAO (laugh my ass off)...cuz he was owned in the first fight,,.i mean owned tho..and bad..and to make it worst he got ko'ed..and did u see his eye's when he gets up..he had this look like:
"who took my donut"...lol he was mad at his dad for stopping the fight and using his dad to stand right at the same time
Man, I gave Tito 1 round against Hopkins when I peeped that, and I was goin for Trinidad. Trinidad hasn't made a come up in his time off from what I've seen of him against Mayorga. Gettin hit that many times agains a puncher who isn't even accurate in the first place? He need to come up on his D or else he'll be gettin his chin checked repeatedly like their first encounter. When you beat someone down that bad, a rematch really doesn't seem worth it.
I think in future bullshit like Tito wins in 7 rounds should be ignored. Hopkins has mastered every class fighter he has fought bar Jones ( no shame there ).
Trinidad will not beat Hopkins. Trinidad hasn`t proven he can convincingly beat De La Hoya. Please don`t post shit like Trinidad wins in 7 rds. Tito had hard time winning a round Vs Hopkins, now after 2 years out he is gonna slay Hop in 7!!! please end this retarded post right now!
Mayorga is not a good test to see if Tito would do better against Hopkins the second time around. However, i do think Tito's time off has done him good, he seems hungrier, and i think if he fights Hopkins again, i think the fight will be closer, but Hops will still win
Trinidad will destroy Hopkins in the rematch. That's why he wouldn't give Trinidad a rematch in the first place.
another retard that has no clue on what he's talking about! Hopkins RETIRED your boy. remember that, Tito had to fight a eurotrash tomato can to get a win then retire. Tito's strategy is to wait out hopkins, he's waiting for him to get old. it's totally obvious, then maybe he'll have a chance. as for Hopkins not giving a rematch, that absured! Hopkins would never turn down that kind of cash, especially now that he would get even more cash for the rematch.retard! stick to what you know dildo, scratching your ass and smelling your fingers!!! cause you don't know shit about boxing or boxing politics!
This guy must be kiddin'. You get rematch when it's a draw, majority decision, split decision etc. When you are knocked cold, you don't deserve a rematch.
I do have to agree that Hopkins has mastered the art of defensive fighting and countering. I just think Trinidad can figure it out the second time around.
To me it seems he didn't even try to feel him out. He just wanted the konckout. After he started moving up in weight that's all he was trying to do was knock everybody out. I think Trinidad took Hopkins to lightly (just my opinion). After he fought Joppy he said he felt he just beat the best middleweight.
Tito couldnt do anything because Bernard didnt let him impose his will on him. Tito is too one dimensional for Bernard. I dont even like bernard and I have to admit that he is brilliant. I love watching Tito fight, so I hope he stays away from Hopkins, or he will end up retired again. :(
I posted this just to hear some of the Hopkins's dick riders would say. I go on this forum and see Trinidad haters talk shit. Half of the people I know never even knew about Trinidad before he fought De la hoya, but yet they say he's always been one dimensional. Trinidad would first feel his opponent out, then figure him out and then take them out. That's exactly what's going to happen in the rematch if it happens. I know Hopkins doesn't really want the rematch.
I think Hopkins and Tito are great fighters. But, against each other.....Hopkins owns. No nut-hugging, or whatever ou want to call it. Just years of watching different styles of fights. Dosen't mean I'm always right.
If someone tells me Tito is going to beat up Hopinks based on Tito's fight with Mayorga or his past performances....I would tell them they don't know boxing very well.
Give your reasons....otherwise your a "Dick Rider"
