Most Surprising KO of 2004?

Glen Johnson KOing Jones was 10 times more shocking than Tarver doing it. We had already seen Tarver put up a decent fight vs RJJ and we expected a hard fough fight again. Yes it was the first time RJJ got KTFO, but to see a journeyman do it and have RJJ laid out for several minutes was so jaw dropping to me. Yes Yes Yes I also had my jaw dropped for several minutes, trying to figure out wtf happened and if what I was watching was for real.

i think the johnson ko was alot more surprising Of course it was! Lots of folks thought that Tarver had a shot. Who honestly thought that Johnson was going to WIN....much less by K.O.??

its easily both of the jones KOs but the tarver one was shockin in its fashion but some people still gave tarver a chance after the first fight i didnt hear many people giving johnson much of a chance i think the johnson ko was alot more surprising

I say Johnson's K.O. was the biggest surprise..........more than I could have wished for. And a great, wonderful early Christmas present!

the first Jones KO was really shocking, nobody expected that will happen, his KO loss to Johnson was not as shocking, he was being beaten up before the KO.....

I was completely shocked when Tarver KO'd Jones, but I wasn't that shocked when Glencoffe Johnson knocked him out, killed his spirit, destroyed his future, crippled his legacy, and had his children crying...

i thought roy was gonna box circles around tarver the second time and i felt very good through one and a half rounds cause roy was doing his thing, he could'nt miss tarver's gut with his right hand if he wanted to. boom! all of a sudden, and it was over like that. i jumped out of my chair when roy fell and i was fuckin shocked watching him stumble back to his corner. crazy stuff. i had a similar reaction, i threw my piece of pizza at the tv when he got counted out.

All Roy jones type fighter will end up get KO'd Roy was a great boxer but his physical ability was his main asset, when these fighter get older and slower they get KO'd. A fighter like Toney getting KO'd would be more shocking.

Tarver knocking out Jones was probably the most surprising. I wasn't too surprised when Johnson did it because after all Jones was coming off a devastating knockout loss.

Jones losing to Tarver by an early one punch ko, then getting beat up badly then KTFO by Johnson. Tyson vs Williams was a shocker, cos even though Tyson is shot all i've seen from williams over the years is fail against stiff opposition

I think the most suprising KO of 2004 for Americans must have been when Williams KO'd Tyson. Most UK fans were shocked and we have been watching Williams do that sort of thing for years!! Tyson's been surprisingly ko'ed for years. After a while, it loses its shock value. The Jones ko's were amazing. I truly wished Jones would wind up onsome Superman shit after the Johnson fight.
