Hey, does anyone know the actual weight divisions there are in boxing and what weight you have to be. For ex. if you 16 and you weigh 150, would you be put up against someone whos also 150 but like 21 years old? I'm not talking pro boxing, but just small competition fights that my coach is urging me to get into.
Thanks

If you both weight the same then that's the guy you should be fighting. Its up to your people if they want to put a 16 year old kid in with a 22 year old man.
Oh ok, i was using 150 as an example, im actually 116pds, so thats like 52 kgs? oh and since im 16 id be versing pppl as old as me and younger, thats kinda unfair on the younger people, OR i might end up gettin my butt kicked by some 12 year old
