"I'm not in this game. I'm here physically, but if I was in this f****** game all these f****** guys would be f****** dead, and their mother's would be running into the ring crying because I knocked them unconscious."-Mike Tyson

My questions are does anyone on this site believe that Mike Tyson could return next year and maybe win either WBA or WBO title? Does anyone believe that if Tyson didn't tear a ligament in his leg that he would have beat Danny Williams? I konow he can't be like he was in the mid 80's and 90's but is there anyone who thinks he can return and suceed? I am a fan of Mike Tyson and was watching his old fights and thought if Bernard Hopkins can fight good at 39 and James Toney can fight good at 36 than why can't Tyson at 38. He has a good trainer and he is broke as hell so why not fight. Even if he just fights bums at least he could leave the game with money and on a winning note. I am a fan of Tyson because of what he did in his Boxing career, I am not a fan of personal life and some of things he has said and done. The point of writing this thread was to see if anyone else thinks that Tyson's career ends on a good note and he gets the recongnition for his accomplishments.

After what we all saw a couple weeks ago, why would anyone give Tyson a chance inside the ring?
I agree, and think the minute he gave up on himself as a fighter (which he said he did in the post fight interview) thats the time for everyone to give up. He said the day somebody like McBride beat him he knew it was time to quit.
although I wouldn't at all be surprised if someone brought up a similar new thread
Yeah...I wouldn't be too suprised either. Tyson is FINSIHED...I am a fan and I admit that.

I DIDN'T BRING IT BACK SOME ONE ELSE DID...
...That's the first thing I noticed. The original date that is. Who the hell brought this one back?

Sorry Mayweather, I should have known, it did seem a little dated and ridiculous! :o
As much as I hate to say it Tyson has a chance to get another title. Brewster is afraid to throw a punch, Ruiz is just pathetic, and Vitali Klitchko is a sitting duck waitng for a guy like Tyson to knock him on his ass. I'm just not that impressed with any heavyweight champs-- so in my eyes if Tyson has any killer instinct left he can get a belt.
no more Beer for you Queen City :D

I can't believe we're having this conversation about Tyson after his last debacle against Mcbride. I bought into the hype before the fight that we were gonna see the old Tyson and that he was in good hands with Jeff Fenech, just to be let down by his(Tyson) quitting attitude. He was by no means losing or being dominated in his last fight but he found a way to lose. Tyson is done and I'll never buy into the hype again after his last disgraceful performance.
if golota is still getting chances to get knocked out in the first round why shouldnt tyson get more chances. the heavyweight division is garbage and im waiting for a phenom to take that division out of the trash. in the mean time ill stay in the lower weight classes where there is excitement
how can he not, he can knock anyone in the world out within the first 3 rounds, so saying thats just stupid
He couldn't knock out Kevin McBride, he's done for good. The king is dead.
I think tyson will become a champ within the next year, he will fight klit head and beat his arse down
just cause we like tyson doesnt mean we dont know boxing, i have watched it all my life every week, i know boxing.... trust me
tyson WILL (as long as donkey king doesnt get in the way) be champ this year, maybe two or three belts
none of the champs can take his power
Danny Williams is very underated.
James Toney cruised in his last fight...It was obvious that he was merely working up a sweat. Toney has the best chin & 'sly' defense in the business.
Tyson is a total hasbeen and has become a 4 round specialist. If he fights someone who sees out 4 rounds.....He's gone!
