PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - Upon hearing that former heavyweight contender David Tua intends to make a comeback, former champion Roy Jones Jr. has spoken out about the Tuaman's return to the ring. "I'm the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the world and I will show the world that David Tua is no match for Roy Jones Jr. Give me 65 million and I'll whip the guy"
Jones Jr. earned a heavyweight belt with a 12-round decision over John "The Quietman" Ruiz, but relinquished his belt to return to the light heavyweight ranks. What followed were a controversial win over Antonio Tarver, a KO loss in the rematch, and a KO loss versus journeyman Glen Johnson in September.
Jones blames his losses on the discrepancy in weights for his last few fights, but contends they had nothing to do with any talent loss that might have occurred. "Y'all must have forgot. Bernard Hopkins is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I beat the dude over a decade ago. I beat James Toney, too, before he blimped out and kept getting injured."
Jones was in his home studio recording his new album, "Tarver Got Lucky" which contains the tracks, "I Ain't Lost It" and "Whatchu mean I suck on the mic?" when he announced his plan for his last few bouts.
"The reason I lost to Tarver was because I can't get up for the light heavyweights anymore. I told you I wanted Tyson, Holyfield, Klitschko, but you wouldn't listen. So I had to whipped by Antonio to convince you. But you still didn't buy it, so I had to get whupped again. Y'all don't believe it, now?"
"I can only get up for super-heavyweights now. I want Tua, but only at 310 lbs., and only if I can get 65 million, then I want Butterbean, Buster Douglas, Sweet Dick Willy, and Kirstie Alley, and then I'm out. I'ma stay home and raise my chickens."
Jones is 49-3.

I cannot believe that some of you did not realize this was a joke !
Nice job, neils !
I love how the Klit fans find this fraudulent piece to be funny, but not the fake one about Wlad Klit.
C'mon....they were both funny. Stop being such sensitive ladies.
That article was a complete funny joke. David Tua would send Roy to an early grave. The Terminator has the power to KO any fighter on the planet from Flyweight to Heavyweight. :D
Roy's always saying he'll fight someone for some insane amount of money. What's funny is that people believed Roy might ask for something that outrageous. I think he was saying he'd fight Vitali for 30 mil and Tyson for 50 mil.
