By Ronnie Nathanielsz, Manila Standard, 11 Oct 2004

Hmmmm...very very interesting
hell no morales aint stupid..he knows manny has power (cuz jimm/mab) so if it is one sided and it might be..he will box the hell out of manny and ko him probably
Well he did say he wasn't worried about his left hand...tsk tsk tsk...
I think Pac won't be there to get hit. If Morales comes on the offensive, there's his mistake. He's gonna back of and conceide to Pac's power. I see Pac working him in the ropes. I think Morales wins by close decision, with Arum pulling the strings, we don't know. But it'll still be too close to call it robbery. I have a feeling my scorecards are gonna be verrry different form the judges w/o me being biased.

so you think it'll be one sided? A beatdown?
Yeah i do believe it will be a one-sided (scoring) yet competitive victory for El Terrible especially if he starts right off the bat on the offensive.
I think Pac will open himself up and leave that distance in between him and Erik he uses to land that destructive 1-2 but Erik will take advantage of the distance and be first. Erik will look like a big puncher against pac i predict.
The worst thing Morales can do is to go toe-to-toe with the Pacman.
Comme onnn you know he will. Once he sees Manny's size he'd be like "Wtf this kid can't hurt me". Then WHAM!
Bad Idea for Pac. I think Morales is too strong for him. Plus, Pac needs to finish his business with Marquez.
Also, what if Barrera beats Morales? Pac-Morales evaporates.
I agree that Morales will be too much for PAC.
oh ok now problem anyway tho..boxrec is always the first to post oversea wins...i hope manny can do it...and if not he's not done anyway but his chance's at a big pay day will be...dont be to sure people will fight pac if he loses also...they may just fight the man that beat pac and it wll be like killing two birds with one stone...but i belive pac can do this
Well Pac has already been tested and passed with flying colors. From Sasakul, to Ledwaba, to MAB, top Marquez these were all quality opponents. St. Clair has lost against his share (chico, dorin. Manny's also a top 10 p4p and pretty highly ranked in some. The only thing that can fuck it up is if he doesn't train as hard cuz he's in the phillippines (playing pool I hear....dumbass)but he'll be back next week at Wild Card, plus Feddie Roach will be with him in the Phili. during the fight so that's also a plus. Sure hope he can focus now that he has a fight set.

Well only a very small amount of people really thinks Pac can beat Morales so it wouldn't be career damaging. Besides, if Pac looses people wouldn't think that Pac is a hack only that Morales is just THAT good. If he does loose, JMM and MAB are both still there and with the up and coming featherweights, Juarez, Guzman(should be moving to featherweight anytime now), even with Chi and Harrison there will always be fights even if he looses.
what if erik and manny both lose lol..
anyway mab vs morales is a toss up...and ST. Clair has the best chin in boxing next to mayorga so manny has a hard fith ahead of him..so he better no look past the fast unstoppable punches of St. Clair....in general good stuff...either way hella ppl including me wanna se this fight (morales/manny)
hey mooks anyword of the manny fight will be on the vitali undercard or is just a hbo fight after dark or what??
If they both loose, MAB will want his rematch against PAC more than ever. It'll be MAB/PAC, and Morales would likely move up or face JMM. I doubt it though.
The more I read about this St.Clair, the more I get nervous lol. Just cuz I don't want PAC/Morales to be in jeopardy. It will be a hell of a fight and if Pac knocks him out, geez, it'll cuz an uproar.
To be honest H, I don't even think HBO will cover this fight. It'll be in the Phillippines and there were no reports of HBO dishing out cash for it. I'm certain it won't be at the undercard and HBO after dark is too small to invest cash by doing a show outside the country I think. I don't even know if we'll be able to see it....I'm sure we will but I don't know which network.
