I hope you guys are as objective as possible. Now that you have seen Trinidad again. What do you think would happen if these two fight in 4 or 5 months? I think Trinidad TKO's and ruins him after a fairly competitive fight.
Leave it
We can argue DLH -Tito all night on how to score that fight. I had it a draw. The point is that doesnt have anything to do with Tito vs. Taylor.
If the fight was proposed, I have no doubt Tito and his camp would sign it tomorrow. Taylor and his camp, however, would not. Why is that?
Because they're not confident. They know Jermain is all hype and aren't sure he can back up what HBO has done to promote him as the next great thing. They said the same about Michael Grant and Wlad Klithcsko. See where they ended up? On the canvas counting sheep!. LOL
For me it would be like the Trinidad V Reid fight IMO.Just saw the DLH V Tito fight in an obgetive matter. How in the world people can said DLH won all the first rounds, that's insane. All is because of the HBO comments on Oscar, and the people going crazy with every oscar's flashes.Whatch carefully the fight without volume,DLH was dancing to much,he did an awesome job with his jab.He was just trying to win rounds at the last second with fast flashes that didn't land clearly after all.The fight was good but don't live up to the hype.Larry has it at 115-114 for Oscar,I have it 115-114 for Tito or 114-114 draw With a 10-10 first round Tito(2,4,10,11,12) Oscar(3,5,6,7,8,9)
Don't get me wrong i'm a big Oscar fan and big Tito fan.IMO it was a close fight(not controvercial) it was fare a close win for Oscar or Tito or even better a draw.Just hope a rematch at 160 with oscar fighting toe-to-toe with tito.
Taylor jabs from the waist (open for lead right hands) and he doesn't have the quick feet to get out of the way. Holds his chin up when he punches. Look at Taylor when he 's punching. He aint been exposed because hes' fighting undersized and shot fighters. The second he fights a live body he's toast. Tito is a pipe dream. Taylor would never sign to fight him. Someone else like a Syd Vanderpool type will knock milk dud head off his rocker!
taylor who will be tha greatest middleweight ever will win by a ko
greatest ever!! ha ha ha. yeah, the greatest super middle to fight only jr middles!! it's okay if he fights a few, but all of his fights!! come on!!
tito by 8th round ko!!
Taylor has been beating half-assers from 154.
If you put Bunema or Marquez in with Tito....I'll guarantee they are dismissed by him in far more brutally effiecient fashion than what was shown by Jermain.
Howard eastman will end taylors chances of facing trinidad so soon
eastman will beat him in the WBC eliminator, tito will get beat by hopkins
tito will beat de la hoya (after hopkins steps up)
eastman will be defeated by tito
Im curios where you got that impression after looking at the posts on this thread?
I got the impression from the title and the way Tito fans act when say he is anything , but our lord and savior.
Do your homework
Taylor fought Freddy Cuevas in August of 2003. Go look it up.
Let's look at the great competition Taylor has fought since that journeyman welterweight who he beat by decision.
Rogelio Martinez: A career JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT whose a favorite punching bag of house fighters on Solo Boxeo.
Alex Rios: A favorite punching bag of anyone with promise. Lost to "Cowboy" James Coker before fight with Taylor, was knocked out by Terry Norris in 1996. That was the SHOT version. Like a fighter who loses to Meldrick Taylor now. Was KO'd by Raul Marquez in one round in 1994.
Alex Bunema: A career WELTEREIGHT/JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT. Had a draw with Carlos Bojorquez who has absolutely no skill whatsoever.
By 25 pro fights, Oscar de la Hoya fought(let's comapre Taylor to him since Taylor is an Olympian with promise and being promoted by HBO as a superstar): John John Molina (a world champion), Rafael Ruelas (a world champion with a record of 43-1 w/34 KOs), Julio Cesar Chavez (a legend though past his best); James Leija (a world champion though small) and Genaro Hernandez (a world champion switch hitter who was taller and bigger than Oscar).
Don't hand me this crap about Taylor taking it slow and he's so great. If a fighter is the goods, you put him in with real competition. Compare Taylor to Oscar and every other fighter who turned out to be the real deal and by the time they had 25 pro fights, they'd answered every question about them.
Taylor is a FRAUD until he steps up and proves he's not
I love how everyone who doesn't think Tito could walk on water is labeled a hater
Im curios where you got that impression after looking at the posts on this thread?
taylor by ko late rounds..too big too strong..if de la hoya can beat trinidad and vargas can almost beat him other then tito low blowing him...taylor rapes him..
I didnt know Vargas almost beat Trinidad? When did that happen?

i do not believe tito can walk on water .
but i do believe he changed water in wine and that don felix is GOD.

Taylor is a joke
He couldnt KO freddy Cuevas and that guy is a welterweight punching bag with no punch. Taylor doesn't have the power to stop Trinidad and definitely not the skill. he's been protected and figthing fighters without a punch for the past 4 years for obvious reason. Taylor must not have a chin and his people know it. Tito has better skills, better chin, better punch and has been tested by far better opponents. Until Taylor proves otherwise this is a blowout
I was wondering about this fight too. It doesn't need to happen right now. Taylor is still developing as a fighter and is coming along very well. Vargas was young and doing well when they threw him in there with Trinidad. There are too many similarities and I don't want to see another good prospect wasted because he was rushed into big fights too early. I like Taylor and I think he just needs some more time and a few competitive fights before he makes his attempt to take over middleweight.
styles make fights dude...i think taylor can keep tito away at all and will have his chin tested and it wont be pretty he's tall and 160...he light for his height meaning his chin may sufer from low weight...either way tito checks is chin and sends him home..i bet he wont last aslong as mayorga did
i think taylor could last til the middle to later rounds but everyone under estimates titos power. and i think tito is coming back to take over the middles. with b-hop on the exit he is probably able to do just that. not that he can't be beat but he will be one of the top guys if not the top.
