Pro Wrestlers who could the behinds of some boxers!

most wrestlers take steriods or HGH but a wrestle could be a boxer maybe but not a puncher

I have seen plenty of Vito Belfort fights. His hands are fast alright, but he is by no means a technically sound boxer. His boxing rep has been shamelessy built up in Brazil. He was by no means the boxer he or his camp have said he is. They claimed he was an Olympic hopefull and he never claim close to sniffing the Olympics. I like MMA, but like I said if you take a guy out of his elament he doesn't have a chance.

i think the whole thing about rules isnt really the issue. In a no holds barred fight, u do wat u know best, a boxer would punch and a wrestler would take u down. If a wrestler fought a boxer according to the rules of boxing, the wrestler wouldnt be allowed to wrestle...therefore he WOULDNT be a wrestler right?

problem is allways the rules.But completely without rules,Tyson is last man I want to fight with.

If you say check out these great fighters that would have been ok with me, but saying they would beat any top ranked boxer in a boxing match with boxing rules is just insane. Besides,the reason why I started this topic was to let some guys here now that there are great pro wrestlers in the world.Maybe they could find their fights interesting.I couldn't care less about stupid arguments or offended "boxing only" fans. Takada is a fantastic fighter. I used to watch a show called BUSHIDO, i loved that sport. I just found out that Gary Albright died back in 2000. Fuck! He was this giant american who beat and was beaten by Takada. I must try to get hold of some of those fights. Thanks for jogging my memory. Personally, i think Takadas long leg kicks would easily disable most boxers who need their stance to get off any punches. To name a few that could even destroy some heavyweights.Most of these wrestlers are Japanese and after having succesful pro wrestling careers,they switch to MMA and start to kick some. If you don't believe me,I'll throw some names so if you are interested you can research about them. 1.Kazushi Sakuraba 2.Nobuhiko Takada 3.Kazuyuki Fujita 4.Yoshihiro Takayama Takada is a fantastic fighter. I urge you to see several Vitor Belfort fights.There you will see a truly talented MMA fighter with all the potential in the world to be a great pro boxer.His speed was unbelievable.

One need to look no farther than WWF's failed "Brawl for All" competition, where "toughman" Bart Gunn, after winning a boxing tournament, went head-to-head with Butterbean - and didn't last 2 minutes - at Wrestlemania a few years back.

Exactly The Wrestler or MMA fighter will alwys beat the boxer in MMA rules however If you put the Wrestler or MMA fighter in with a Boxer under Boxing rules the MMA fighter will leave on a stretcher. and it will always be like that. not so sure that all mma fighters would lose in a boxing match... ive seen guys kod with jabs so a punch from a hardcore mma fighter should do more than enough damage Well you have to match skill relative to their fight style. You can't put a champion mixed martial artist against a tomato can boxer and expect a fair fight. But the best of the best in each discipline will be determined by the ruleset. As far as Yoko's comment about the best "fighter" in the world I have to say it's still possible to get an idea from the UFC type fights with very few rule limitations. They need to be ready for anything and be able to do what it takes, shady or not, a boxer needs to break when a ref says, has specific targets to aim for and only needs to be prepared to be hit in these areas as well. For a better idea, a street fight with no weapons would be the ultimate test but the best fighters in the world would never do that. :D

Too true, if you play anyone at their own game in their own yard you can expect to get beaten. The wrestler Big Show would be able to wrestle Tyson to the ground but put them in the ring and Tyson would knock his 7 foot 2 inch body out. :cool:
