Is JMM going after boxing glory by unifying the featherweight division first and face Injin Chi (WBC) or Harrison (WBA),or is he going straight for money and restore back the Mexican pride by taking on the Pacman first who is keen on burning his path through Mexico?
this may have been discussed, as i have just skipped to the last page but i sincerely believe that harrison will demolish JMM, Barrera and Chi - not pac though,
however if he tries to unify the belts and puts his belts on the line against harrison, he will end up with no belts
Come on harrison !!!!
I dunno about demolish, I mean you're talking about 3 of the toughest featherweights out there.

Pac will beat JMM in their rematch. JMM couldnt hurt Pac with his best shots before and he won't be able to in the rematch. Freddie Roach and Pac just gotta find a more effective way and thee is alwyays a more effective way. He'll land that punch and it'll be fresh.
Youre welcome...although I though it would give you alot more than that!! :o
Thats more than enough...
OK Tracy I better be going, I'll look for you on Pac next big fight...
Thansk again....
Okey we have a deal, and thanks for the karma & points, more savings for the bet for me...

Good karma for you! ( that should help your pt's out a bit :) ) and I agree, JMM just might hit the canvas atleast once....but I bet all my moolah that it's only once :D . So, come fight night, you and I may have to work something out, huh?
Agreed, I'm still saving on points, and come fight night I'll look for you, we just go for straight bets, OK...
Tracy, its not a typo, most of us Pac Fans at our site agrees on this, we give credit where credit is due, JMM is a technically sound fighter, and will fight a smarter fight, but I will bet all my moolah that he will taste canvas again come Pac-JMM II....
As for Morales, EM is Team Pacs main target, biggest fight out their for Pac and will take him on next year....

Either I'm completely nut's or you just posted that JMM would win on pt's if it went the distance??? If thats not a typo, then I KNOW I'm debating with an objective fan for a change...and it's about time!
Like I said, I think JMM will fight smarter in the rematch and not get caught by that vicious left of Manny's ....or atleast not so many times.
I also believe that Pac doesnt want any part of Erik Morales (or shouldnt want!!)..he's just too much for Manny to handle. Hell, Morales is too much for just about anybody to handle..the only guy that really came close was Barrera, and that's questionable. They had a "hate" thing going on, so I dont think that just cause Manny beat MAB he can automatically compete with Morales.

tracy lee, that's how we are Pac Fans we don't expect manny to just win, we expect him to KO the other guy, be it JMM, MAB or EM, plus my unbiased opinion JMM will win on points if he manages to go the distance....
although I am totally convince that he will win by KO, these top guys are so good that only a few inches separates them, Manny's advantage is his left straight, during the Pac-JMM I fight after the 1st round pac lost his edge, he lost the sting, JMM adapted well and countered perfectly resulting in the draw...

I saw him against Barrera, and I dont recall him "moving" around alot then either. I remember him beating the hell out of Marco :( who remeined stationary most of the night (big mistake) and paid the price for it.) Unless I'm completely remembering that fight wrong, that's what I saw. Manny had no need to move aroud much with MAB, he basically stormed into the ring and completely swarmed him! I didnt see much technique; but I saw much ass whipping. I hope it goes completely different in a rematch with Barrera too.
Back to JMM. I watched him take alot of serious, fight ending blows from Manny, and I also saw him get back up after each and every one of them. He learned quick (you gotta give him that) and there were no more of those knock downs after he started using the ring and his talent and I know ya'll hate it when some of us say this, but that doesnt make it not true. JMM completely out-boxed Manny after the early round drama was over and if it had gone 15 rd's he would have won a decision decisively.
Some keep predicting a knock out....healthy or not, Manny still had his power that night, and yet he never knocked JMM out. Why are you so convinced he will in the rematch? What makes you think JMM is just gonna stand there and give him that chance? He's way too good and too smart for that. If he survived the first 2 rds with Manny he will definately survive and prosper in the rematch. But, then again, that's just my opinion ;)

I beg to disagree, Tracy. . .the Pac that you saw in that fight is not a 100% healthy. If you saw how PAC moves against MAB, LUCERO or LEBWADA then you'll probably believe me. JMM couldn't have lasted up to the 5th round if Pac was not handicapped by his injured lefthand and blistered foot.
On THE REMATCH? JMM will be very very cautious . . . but I'll still predict PAC by K.O. or T.K.O. within 8 rounds. ;)
You dont have to beg...just say I'm wrong... :p ( I love that phrase....beg to differ!!!)

JMM may be the most technically sound fighter at his weight, but unless he overcomes his sweet counterpunching style, he won't ever get the respect he rightfully deserves in the eyes of the public.
A draw is a draw, and JMM is tough. But remember how Hopkins fought for eternity to earn that respect. Up to now, people doubt him because of his over-cautious style. I think he is the most intelligent fighter out there, but I'd rather watch a cockfight than watch him look cute against a stuffed-up middleweight.
Let's get back to the topic. I would say, if he needs to prove something, JMM has to fight Pac-Man not any other so called champion. Pac-Man is the man at 126. So fighting any other gains nothing for JMM.
JMM won't be an undisputed featherweight champion without facing Pac the second time around. And I think that he's facing Pac in Feb. that is if Arum would keep his words to Murad.
i dont think that after pac beats JMM that he will be in a position to dictate who he fights
morales wont be interested in a jmm fight after pac cause these two will be fighters he has already beaten
"after pac beats JMM"?? Like it's a forgone conclusion. JMM got nailed hard the first round or two, and then came back to completely and throughly outbox Manny in the remaining rounds. I happen to like BOTH fighter's , but I truly believe that the rematch will go just like the first fight; minus the knockdowns. Without them, you've got JMM winning a UD, unless Pac does some serious game changing thing's in the ring.
