Actually, Williamson has a Masters, not a PhD. Wlad is the one with the PhD.
Klichko's Russian website claimed Davarryl Williamson has a "doctorate", but they obviously made a mistake in translation.
I have read a nice article about Williamson at www.klitschko.com. I'd post it here, but it is in Russian. In a nutshell, Williamson has had a good amateur career before turning professional; he is smart, with a PhD (?) in business administration; and he’s got a nice family. He has every good motivation to do well in this fight.
Williamson will offer a serious competition.

yeah, DW only has one weapon, the right hand.... i think wlad will make some subtle changes to his style... not be so straightforward, more jabbing and less left hooks(leaves him open against smaller guys)... i think you'll se wlad fight more defensively and from the outside...
Williamson's best chance is to get right on Wlad, fire his big right, in an attempt to either take Wlad out or to shake up his confidence.
Of course, this increases the chances of the frail Williamson walking into Wlad's heavy artillery.
But, if he stays outside, Wlad will bomb him from there....& Williamson will have no chance.
Haha yeah, I wonder if they are related they were both born in Havana, Cuba, and now they both live in Miami, Florida.
Yes they are brothers!!! And I pick Vlad by early K.O.
Wow. That's like a guy named Osco De La Hoya fighting. lol
Taking a name like that actually may be a good strategy for a starting good boxer  Koreans did well with their Hyndai version of Honda etc.
Well Williamson was also knocked down in his last fight by Eliecer soft hitting Castillo who is 26-4 with 14 KOs.
That's the guy Michael Moorer lost to isn't it?
I never said that he does. Once Sanders had been KOed in 2, but obviously that did not have much of an effect on his later fights. Likewise, KO1 of Williamson is not a proof of a weak chin, at least not yet.

Sanders doesn't have a weak chin though.

based on both fighters chins , i bet on a first round double KO.
Using the same prediction rule, one could have predicted Rahman KO2 Sanders KO2 Rahman.
Good stuff. It's a shame I don't think he's going to last long on Saturday. But I guess anyone - Michael Moorer, John Ruiz, Hasim Rahman, Kali Meehan - can get KO'd quickly in a big fight and still have a decent career.
Good point.
