Spinks-Judah II in the works!
By Karl Freitag
Looks like welterweight champion Cory Spinks and former two-time champ Zab Judah will do it again in December or January. Judah, who is fighting Wayne Martell (24-2) on October 2 at Madison Square Garden underneath Trinidad-Mayorga, said today that bout agreements have already been signed by he and Spinks. "Now we're just looking for the right timing and the right venue," stated Judah. "There's money...that's all we're looking at right now...for one of these big networks to step in the picture and put the money up. We're ready to do it." Spinks decisioned Judah in April in a bout where both fighters were on the canvas.

Take the picture out of your signature or shrink it...I mean come on guy have some commen sense
you know what i almost miss zabkillsspinks....dude was mean and started hella crap..but he was like the ricardo mayorga of boxing scene..meaning not many fans..but loved him or hate hime..he brought drama and excitment to boxingscene.com
anyway back to point..after spinks great last fight..this is tuff to call..but i mean spinks is weak and i think he KD judah..anyway..i say and hope judah by ko
but warning to judah..mayorga has said win or lose to tito..hes coming back to "spinks or whoever has MY belts",,,so if judah wins...watch out..el matador will be going hunting
If the process towards making the fight was what it appears to be based on Zab's quoted statement (they have agreed to fight...now, the networks can come in with the money), then, there's hope for boxing, yet. The match should be paramount; money, venue, TV execs whims, promoters' greed, et al, secondary. Not the other way around as we've seen it much too often and in too many places under too many enraging circumstances over too many years.
Somebody has to keep it going in his absence, so I may as well step up to the plate, the fact of the matter is that Judah is going to dominate Spinks in the rematch because we saw that when Zab gets aggressive he wins the fight. It is very hard for me to believe that he will not be the fighter who is putting on the pressure when these guys get in the ring again- which means a long night for Spinks...
This should have been one of the three choices for fight of the year in the poll someone had up. Not DLH/Hopkins. Judah-Spinks I, Tyson/Williams, Freitas-Corrales, Marquez-/Pacquaio.
The second one ought to be good too.
BTW, despite being a good fight, Spinks won the first fight easily.
