The next instalment of the ProBox TV NoXcuse Promotions collaborations will take place on May 1 in Maryland.

The show will take place in Hanover, Maryland, and will feature multiple fighters from the region.

In the main event, Cobia “Soldier” Breedy (15-1, 5KOs) faces Sulaiman Segawa (13-3-1, 4KOs) in a 10-round featherweight bout with the WBC Continental Americas featherweight title on the line.

Viewership of Showtime’s main event Saturday night was partially reflective of the mostly tactical, uneventful nature of Erickson Lubin’s victory over Terrell Gausha. Nielsen Media Research released figures Tuesday that indicated an average of 116,000 viewers watched the 12-round bout between Lubin and Gausha. The 24-year-old Lubin (23-1, 16 KOs) overcame momentary trouble when Gausha (21-2-1, 10 KOs) buzzed him with a right hand in the 10th round and won a unanimous decision – 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113 – in the third bout Showtime televised from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Mohegan Sun, CT - In the Showtime televised co-main event, a twelve round WBC featherweight title eliminator, Mongolian Olympic silver-medalist Tugstsogt Nyambayar (12-1, 9 KOs) rode two early knockdowns to win a highly competitive split-decision over Barbadian Cobia Breedy (15-1, 5 KOs), setting up a possible rematch with WBC featherweight world champion Gary Russell Jr.

Tugstsogt Nyambayar didn’t get the knockout that seemed inevitable early in his fight with Cobia Breedy on Saturday night. That failure nearly cost Nyambayar dearly. The Mongolian featherweight contender barely beat Breedy by split decision in the second

It took nine months for Cobia ‘Soldier’ Breedy to receive an offer for a fight in 2020, and all of a couple of days to accept the opportunity. The unbeaten featherweight did so even as the deck is stacked against him, stepping well up in class for a short-notice clash with perennial Top 10 contender Tugstsogt Nyambayar (11-1, 9KOs). Their bout takes place this Saturday as part of a Showtime-televised tripleheader from the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.
