Cesar "Corazon" Juarez tried every way possible to score a knockout over Panamanian challenger Jorge "Bufalo" Sanchez and could not, but did more than enough to win a unanimous decision over ten rounds in the main event fight from the Municipal Auditorium of Tijuana that Azteca 7 televised and Zanfer Promotions promoted.

The cards of the judges were: 99-91, 100-90 and 98-92 all in favor of Juarez, who looked a bit out of rhythm, but with his aggressiveness intact.

"I was a bit frustrated at not being able to knock out the Panamanian, I was surprised that he endured all of my power shots, but the important thing is that we won and go for the world title eliminator," said the 28-year-old law graduate.

In an exciting fight, Jose Briegel ¨Gallito¨ Quirino was declared the winner in a close unanimous decision over Israel Rodrigo Picazo in eight rounds in a bantamweight fight.

The fight was intense from the first round. The judges scored 76-75 all in favor of the Tijuana boxer.

The prospect Omar ¨Pollo¨ Aguilar rose from a spectacular fall in the second round to end up scoring a knockout at 2:17 of the fifth round over Guillermo García of Mexico City in a six-round super lightweight clash.

Aguilar (9-0, 9 KOs) started attacking and in the second round, but he received a left hook and fell to the canvas in bad condition, but managed to finish the round and recover. In the third with all of his focus, he attacked and managed to dominate the fight by punishing the soft areas of Garcia (9-5, 5 KOs), who was able to withstand the damage until the fifth - but was put in poor condition and the referee stopped the fight when he received strong power strikes from Omar.
