Cesar Francis: record, next fight and profile →

The welterweight Emiliano Moreno’s seventh-round stoppage of Cesar Francis on Wednesday may have been the biggest of his career, but it also came with some controversy that somewhat marred the show

Welterweight Emiliano Moreno’s seventh round technical knockout of Cesar Francis on Wednesday was overshadowed by the controversy of a premature stoppage by the referee.

Welterweight Cesar Francis will try to reinvent his career on the same network that launched him when he faces undefeated 19-year-old prospect Emiliano Moreno at the Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown, California, in a ProBox TV show.

Both Flores and Arellano came in under the lightweight limit for their ProBox TV main event.

A crossroads showdown between an unbeaten welterweight on the rise and a former prospect looking to regain his standing in the sport will co-headline the February 19, 2025 edition of ProBox

Tsendbataar Erdenebat is making a name for himself as a legit prospect. Erdenebat stopped fringe contender Yohan Vazquez in round eight Saturday night at Sony Hall in New York City. Erdenebat, who is originally from Tsetserleg, Mongolia and now lives and trains in the Los Angeles area, improved to 8-0, 4 KOs.

LAS VEGAS – Nahir Albright sabotaged Karlos Balderas’ comeback Friday night. Though clearly the B side in their eight-round lightweight fight, Albright beat Balderas by majority decision and produced the biggest win of his career on the Seniesa Estrada-Leonela Yudica undercard at Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Theater. Judge Chris Migliore scored their very competitive contest a draw (76-76), but judges Lisa Giampa (77-75) and Dave Moretti (77-75) scored five rounds apiece for Albright.

Seniesa Estrada soaked in the ambiance for the weigh-in ahead of her first headlining act. Making weight was the easy part for the unbeaten WBC and WBA strawweight champion, who was a fighting fit 104.4 pounds for her upcoming title defense. Estrada meets former IBF flyweight titleholder Leonela Paola Yudica, who was a career lightest 103.7 pounds.

Pound-for-pound dynamo Seniesa "Super Bad” Estrada will defend her WBC and WBA minimumweight world titles against Argentina’s former world champion Leonela Yudica on Friday, July 28 at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
