Gerry Weber Stadium in Halle, Germany - Once-touted to be one of the most promising German prospects, middleweight Dominik Britsch (32-2-1, 11 KOs) looked like a completely wasted talent in his workmanlike, dull decision over Bosnian no-hoper Slavisa Simeunovic (19-14, 17 KOs). Britsch, who started his career with 26 wins in a row but then was derailed by unheralded Spanish and Tounissian journeymen, was lazy, rusty and unwilling to engage his opponent. Simeunovic was aggressive at some points and landed his share of blows, even despite losing unanimously (80-72 x3) to the German. BoxingScene had it 78-74 - for Britsch. Simeunovic was stopped in 12 of his 13 previous losses.

Cecilia Braekhus (28-0, 7 KOs) isn't nicknamed The First Lady of Boxing for nothing. A dominant welterweight, who overpowered every opponent put in front of her, including extremely tough Anne Sophie Mathis (best known for her brutal stoppage of Holly Holm) and Myriam Lamare of France, continued her winning series with a one-sided decision over nice-looking heavily tattooed Uruguyan Chris "El Bombon Asesino" Namus (21-4, 8 KOs).
After shaking off some ring rust in the first couple of rounds, Braekhus, 34, who was out of the ring for a year and three months, while moving to K2 Promotions from the Sauerland Event, started to get back to work. She was landing solid punches, beating Namus to the punch, scoring much as a counterpuncher. Namus honestly worked for all ten rounds but was dominated and heavily outboxed. Scores were 100-90 across the boards. Braekhus made the seventeenth defense of her record assortment of hardware, which included WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO 147lb titles.

Home favorite Emin Atra (7-0, 5 KOs) was pushed to the limit by unheralded but spirited Croatian/Bosnian journeyman Nikola Matic (13-32, 9 KOs). Scores were: 58-5, 58-56 and 59-55. Matic was very aggressive and definitely didn't look like a victim and didn't feel that way. However, Atra's skill set has proven to be just a bit too much for Matic.

Once-defeated light middleweight Besar Nimani (21-1, 17 KOs) of Kosovo got a solid win over German journeyman Chris Herrmann (21-9-1, 12 KOs), stopping his at 2:05 of the third round. Nimani dropped Herrmann with a solid left hook through his opponent's guard at the end of the second stanza. In the third, Nimani delivered a hard left to the liver of Herrmann, dropping him again. Finally, the German was dropped for the third time after another left hook. Referee stopped the contest without a count after the third knockdown.
