Aston Brown returned from a near five-year hiatus to keep up his unbeaten run. The middleweight made a comeback at the Glasgow Boxing Academy in Govan, Scotland, exclusively live on Fite TV +. Brown, who has teamed up with Joseph McNally and Declan O’Rourke in Liverpool for the next stage of his career, secured a six-round win at the top of the bill promoted by Mervyn Turner’s Shamrock Promotions for Boxing Social on Friday night.

The Glaswegian middleweight (2-0) turned professional in 2015 and at the age of 27 looks primed to surge towards title fights under his new management. Brown said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining MTK Global and can’t wait for my first fight with them, which will hopefully be in October.
