Zanfer Promotions, in coordination with Boxing Azteca, will suspend all boxing events scheduled live until further notice.

Zanfer will continue transmitting boxing Saturday to Saturday, while the health contingency lasts as local official deal with ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Azteca will show Zanfer's best fights already recorded in a segment called ¨ Legends.¨

Promoter Fernando Beltram, the head of Zanfer, says "the fans will continue to enjoy the best fights, the best fighters and champions for Azteca 7, La Casa del Boxeo."

After making this determination, Zanfer Promotions is in talks with boxing talent, trainers, representatives, advertisers, promoters, organizations and boxing commissions to inform them of the decision made and to reschedule events, as soon as possible, when the  authorities suggest the resumption of mass events.

Until then, Beltran notes that "Zanfer and Box Azteca will adhere to official regulations, will maintain their full and close collaboration with federal and local authorities and confront the coronavirus COVID-19 in a national effort."
