Belgian cruiserweight Yves Ngabu, now 18-0, stopped Hungarian Tamas Lodi, who's pro record is in dispute, in the fourth to win the vacant EBU cruiserweight title over the weekend in Roselaere, Belgium. Lodi was floored in the fourth and later it was stopped with the brave Lodi protesting the stoppage.

This was, according to boxrec, Lodi´s fourth loss in a row - that is if one takes into account what is going on right now. Because on May 18 in Bekescaba in the Lauri Gym, Lodi stopped Zsolt Hamza in one round and with a victory in his last fight Lodi became eligible to fight for the EBU title - and a few days later the result vanished without a trace.

IN OTHER NEWS: At the chic and magnificent Palace of Sports in Versailles, France, local Nordine Oubaali won the vacant silver title of the World Boxing Council by dominating Mexican Alejandro Hernandez, whom he sent to canvas in rounds 1, 2 and 8.

The silver bantamweight championship was only contested by Oubaali, as Mexico's Hernandez did not pass the official weigh-in the day before the bout.

Nordine dominated the action for  most of the fight. Alejandro showed flashes of promise with his boxing ability, but was outgunned and dropped three times.

The match was stopped in round 10 by Referee Anssi Perajoki, after a bad cut to Hernandez's left eyelid created a heavy stream of blood, which obscured his vision.
