A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida - Cuban light heavyweight prospect Yudel Jhonson (11-0, 7KOs) won a one-sided ten round unanimous decision over veteran Jose Miguel Torres (21-5, 19KOs). Johnson used his boxing ability to pile up the points and Torres did little to respond in return. Torres lost a point in round seven for landing a low blow and Johnson lost a point in the tenth. The scores were 96-92, 96-92 and 97-91.

A battle of junior welterweights saw late replacement Walter Estrada (39-14-1, 25KOs) continue to play the role of the spoiler by defeating Tyrese Hendrix (20-3, 9KOs) with an eight round unanimous decision. The scores were 79-73, 77-75 and 78-74. Hendrix losing his third, which snaps a two fight win streak after losing back to back bouts to Ty Barnett and Hank Lundy. Estrada, who pulled off some upsets in 2010 by defeating Nate Campbell and Verquan Kimbrough and holding Logan McGuinness to draw, snaps a one fight losing streak.
