WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko sent a strong message to WBA champion David Haye. The two champions will unify their titles on either June 25 or July 2, in a soccer stadium in Germany. During the last two weeks, Haye has launched a full verbal assault on Wladimir, and his older brother Vitali. Wladimir is not going to waste his time by engaging Haye in a verbal battle. Instead, he says a message of punishment will be handed out in the ring.
"He's been saying a lot of silly things over the past few years, and over the past few days. The main message is going to be in the ring. It's good for the promotion, for the fight, when David Haye talks so much trash, but I think the fight itself will show a particular message to the boxing fans and to David Haye, when he's laying on the canvas and smelling the dust of the arena where the fight is going to be," Klitschko said to Sky Sports.
