Wladimir Klitschko says David Haye failed to challenge him during their one-sided world heavyweight title unification showdown in Hamburg on Saturday night.

For months leading up to the big clash in the Imtech Arena, Haye blasted previous Klitschko opponents for failing to attack and test the Ukrainian giant.

But following a lop-sided points victory, Wladimir said the British fighter ended up just like the rest, fighting cautiously and failing to threaten his long unbeaten run.

He told Sky Box Office HD: "It would be awesome to knock David Haye out and it was the same situation I've had. I've been criticised after the Ibragimov fight - I had the same situation. After three rounds. David Haye basically gave up with the strategy and he was very cautious. He was very difficult to hit, same way as Ibragimov, I didn't get really challenged in the ring in the way of an offensive fight.

"Instead he was like all of them, like all of my recent opponents. I would have loved to have celebrated my 50th knockout so let me say it's a postponement."

Haye's pre-fight bravado clearly angered Klitschko, and even after the fight he was still unimpressed by what he'd seen from the Briton.

"I'm still not okay with his behaviour before the fight. It's definitely disgraceful to the boxing fans and to the sport of boxing, the way the man behaved himself. Right now after the fight, I think the fight talks for itself. He's been criticising all of the opponents and also he's been criticising me for being whatever, cautious, but he was more cautious than any other fighters. He was very fast and I didn't get the real and true challenge that I had the opportunity to knock him out. He connected with a couple of punches but I wasn't hurt at any stage of the fight. I continued to fight the way I fought all 12 rounds. He criticised all my opponents but he ended up in the same situation."

Now, with brother Vitali holding the WBC belt, the Klitschkos have achieved their dream of holding all the main heavyweight belts at the same time.

Wladimir said: "We did accomplish our dream and unified all of the belts in the heavyweight division. Our dream came true, we are I would way undisputed heavyweight champions. It's a really enjoyable moment in our lives."
