Shelly Finkel, the co-manager of WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder, is confident his boxer will put away Tyson Fury in their highly anticipated rematch in 2020.

The second bout is being targeted for a date in February, and Finkel expects the contest to be announced soon.

"It will be in February," Finkel told Sky Sports. "In the next couple of weeks, we'll solidify a site and date. For all intents and purposes, it will happen."

Fury's trainer Ben Davison was in attendance this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and watched Wilder score a seventh round knockout of Luis Ortiz in a rematch. Wilder stopped him in ten rounds the first time around.

The first bout with Fury, which took place in December 2018, ended in a controversial twelve round split draw at Staples Center in Los Angles, California. The rematch is slated to take place in Las Vegas.

Finkel believes Wilder will finish what he started in the first contest. Fury went down twice in the bout, including a brutal knockdown in the twelfth and final round where Fury appeared to be out cold before rising up to finish the bout.

"The Fury fight, Fury has admitted 'I didn't know I got up, I didn't know where I was'. Is that a knockout? Is that a concussion, or what, because they didn't count 10? There's no one he can fight, that doesn't get hurt, doesn't go down," Finkel said.

"The first fight with Stiverne, the ref didn't see it, or count it, but he went down. He hit the canvas with his gloves and then he got up and the ref didn't count it. Every fight he's either knocked you out or had you down. I've never seen anything like that."
