At the corporate auditorium of Interjet, World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaimán, Julio Gamero - who is the Commercial Executive Director of Interjet - along with the Boxing Commission of Mexico City President Ciro Nucci and the Director in Mexico of the Vegas Convention Visitors, Benjamín Díaz, presented the special Chiapas designed "Adolfo López Mateos" WBC world title that will be presented to the winner of the fight between Gennady Golovkin and Saul Alvarez on September 15th.
This belt commemorates one of the most important dates for Mexicans. It was created by artisans who captured the pre-Hispanic technique of the Chiapanec loom, made with cotton threads in different shades of white to symbolize the armour of the ancient warriors.
