Heavyweight giant Mariusz "The Viking" Wach (27-1, 15 KO) will assist Kubrat Pulev (20-0, 11KOs) for his scheduled fight against WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 52KOs) on September 6th. Wach will head down to Pulev's camp in Berlin to provide his services as a sparring partner.
Wach will finally back on the 17th of October in Dzierzoniow, Poland. The opponent will be announced soon.
Wach is very familiar with Klitschko. The Polish contender has been inactive since a November 2012 decision loss to Klitschko. Wach took a lot of punishment in the contest and it was nearly stopped in the later rounds. Afterwards, Wach tested positive for anabolic steroids and got hit with a suspension by the governing body in Germany. Since that time, a variety of issues have kept him on the shelf.
