Its funny how Freddie and even Manny to some extent, have raised their level of smack talk already. Kinda surprised Manny has been so vocal. Whats even more interesting, is Floyd has clearly tampered down the pre-fight verbal onslaught (at least for now). I expected it to be the other way around.

But in honesty Floyd is going to have to fight Pacquiao and not lay back always in a defensive mode but make Manny respect him and keep him at bay. I can see the first 2 or 3 rounds a feeling out process with Manny trying to figure his way inside while Mayweather is keeping him at bay with the reach and going to the stomach of Manny with the jab. Manny's stomach is his most vulnerable weak spot as Marquez exposed to make Pacquiao drop his hands and then catch him with a power shot. Marquez really fought a very intelligent and strategic fight the 4th time. Floyd should be able to hold off Manny with his size, reach and defense alone but if he has any kind of trouble with his defense against Manny then he needs to turn the offense up to keep Manny from stealing rounds.
The game is up and he knows it, he doesn't have the legs or fluidity in his punches.
Press conference showed how uncomfortable Manny makes him feel.

Been watching videos of Roach talk about the fight/strategy and I like what I'm hearing so far. I think they recognize that Mayweather will try to come forward and they are going to try to counter off his right. He keeps mentioning how Mayweather dips the wrong way versus southpaws and we're going to catch him coming in with the left. It's a sound strategy. Just not easy to implement.
