You guys need to watch more Gennady's fights before talking about his defense.
It can't be both - super aggressive guy who would knock out the opponent under 5 and not getting hit. Noone does that.. Gennady at this stage and with this opposition chose to go to war and take them out regardless of taking a few punches.
People just don't understand the school of boxing Golovkin is coming from. That school may look like minimalist, but it's elaborate and effective. Golovkin knows enough defensive, but this defensive is different as compared with what one can see at Rigondeaux, FMJr, Martinez...

I want to see GGG vs Sergio. GGG will be crowned the lineal MW Champeen of the WORLD with a devastating KO.
Then I want to see GGG destroy Quillin, won't take much to get that chump out of there.
Then I want GGG to KO Froch and look at the TV and tell us he wants WARD next.
GGG vs WARD , GGG will win that fight and may by KO !!!!
HE will shut up the naysayers with that Technical ability and prove that Andre can't hurt him but Andre will feel that power and will go down or be beat to death like Stevens.
There you have it boys,,,,,,,,,,,ALLLLLLLLLLL HAIL TRIPLE G !!!!!!!!!!!
GGG

Isnt anyone gonna comment on how big his english has improved? haha
TBH He should go and unificate titles against Quillin and Barker, i believe he beats both easy and THEN go for Martinez. That would just add greatly to his legacy.
I really don't believe he should jump to 168 until he has all belts in the MW division, we still dont know if he'll carry the power against the 168 fighters.
But still, great fight, most people call him a pressure fighter but he's really a strong educated textbook boxer. He is more intelligent in the ring than people think.

I like the idea of concentrating on 160. GGG is going the Hagler route. Beat everyone until the names have to fight you.
