WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 40KOs) has said that he intends to finish his boxing career soon. Vitali and his brother Wladimir Klitschko currently hold every major boxing title at the weight. Wladimir is the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO world heavyweight champion.

Vitali, leader of the UDAR political party in Kiev, will soon focus the bulk of his efforts on politics. Vitali is a member of the Kiev City Council and he has twice run for mayor of Kiev At nearly 41-years-old, Vitali is considering at least two more fights before retirement.

"My sports career is nearing completion, but sports have always had a place in my heart, and they always will have," Vitali said.

Vitali was last seen in the ring in February, when he won a twelve round unanimous decision over British fighter Derck Chisora in Munich.
