Southaven, MS - Prize Fight Boxing is proud to announce the return of "Fights At The Fitz" on February 24th at the beautiful Fitz Casino & Hotel in Tunica, MS. The exciting 5 bout card will feature some of the top prospects in the world today and will be headlined by undefeated featherweight Leon Bobo 15-0 (2 KO's) from St. Louis, MO.

Bobo will be opposed in the 8 round main event by tough veteran Jesus Perez 24-14-2 (14 KO's) from Miami, FL. Perez, a former world title challenger, looks to derail Bobo's ascent up the rankings. Bobo, a slick southpaw, last appeared at The Fitz on October 21st of last year as he won a convincing 8 round decision over Natalio Ponce.

The Bobo versus Perez contest is sure to excite the expected capacity crowd. Prize Fight Boxing and The Fitz are expecting another sold out crowd at the popular fight series that can be seen via tape delay on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS). Prize Fight has sold out 55 consecutive casino shows and is well on it's way to a 56th straight sellout. Greg Gaston & Dave Woloshin will call the blow by blow and Steve Farhood will bring his wealth of boxing knowledge to the broadcast as he serves as the color commentator for the event.

An exciting undercard will display the talents of rising heavyweight Joell Godfrey 5-0 (4 KO's) from East St. Louis, IL as he battles Alabama heavyweight Larry White 3-3 (2 KO's) in a 6 round feature bout.

Fight fans at The Fitz will remember Godfrey from his breath taking fight this past January 20th against Wes Taylor. Godfrey won a 6 round unanimous decision over Taylor but had him down multiple times throughout the night. Likewise, Godfrey looks to steal the show again with his upcoming performance against White. Also on the undercard will be crowd favorite DeAndrey Abron 11-1 (8 KO's) fighting out of Memphis, TN.

Abron recently ended Kippy Warren's night at the Fitz early as he knocked Warren unconscious this past November in a bout that all fight fans are sure to remember for a long time. Abron's opponent in the 6 round light heavyweight bout will be John Turner from St. Paul, MN. Further, Memphis teenage sensation Ira Terry 13-0 (9 KO's) will lace up the gloves against tough Hassan Wasswa in a 6 round super featherweight match up that is sure to have the crowd on it's feet.

The young Terry will look to use his combination of speed and power to keep the Minneapolis native Wasswa at bay. Rounding out the exciting 5 bout card will be a welterweight match up between Memphis' own Marteze Logan and Sammy Sparkman. Tickets for the event are on sale now and going fast. Tickets can be purchased at the Fitz Casino Gift Shop or by calling the Fitz at (800) 766-5825 x8291.
