The last two days have been hectic for the Amir Khan-Paul McCloskey undercard. After what appeared to be a done feal two days ago, former WBC heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman (49-7, 40KOs) withdrew from a scheduled fight with unbeaten Tyson Fury (14-0, 10KOs). While unconfirmed, BoxingScene.com was told that Rahman's trainer Eddie Mustafa Muhammad was not comfortable with his boxer taking such a fight on two weeks notice.

After the information was disclosed that Rahman was out, the fight with Fury was offered to tough veteran Kali Meehan (37-4, 30KOs), who quickly accepted the opportunity. But, BoxingScene was advised that Meehan received a call on Wednesday informing him that Fury was no longer on the show.

Khan vs. McCloskey takes place on April 16 at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
