Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren believes Tyson Fury will return to the ring in 2026.
Fury said he was retried after suffering his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk but it was always thought that Fury would box again.
Fury is 34-2-1 (24 KOs) and the 37-year-old from Morecambe, England, fought Usyk the second time on December 21 last year, once again losing a decision.
Fury has subsequently regularly posted Instagram stories of runs and workouts and, speaking to DAZN, Warren said: “I spoke to him last week; he said that he's going to come back and fight next year.
“He’s going to do it. He’s had a very busy year this year. He’s obviously not had a fight this year, but as we’ve all seen, he’s had his documentary. He’s told me categorically he wants to fight next year. So, we’ll sit down and see."
