Tyson Fury (22-0, 16KOs) says he would be more than happy to face Lucas Browne (21-0, 18KOs), but only when one of them holds a world title. Browne and Fury are both making a big push in the rankings on the UK scene. Browne, promoted by Manchester legend Ricky Hatton, would love the opportunity to get Fury in the ring. Fury has no problem with the fight, but only when the right money and a world title is involved. He views it as a 50-50 opportunity with each of them possessing the right punch to close the show.

“If the day comes when we fight then it will be a great fight – an explosive entertaining fight. Anyone has got a chance in that fight. It is who lands that bomb first. I’d love to fight Lucas Browne and I’m sure he’d like to fight me as well. But at the moment I’m trying to hunt down a world title. Lucas Browne doesn’t have a world title and neither do I. Would I waste a fight like Lucas Browne for no money and no titles? I really doubt that," Fury told the Manchester Evening News.

“I’m in boxing to make money. I’m not here to get punched in the face and make no money at the end of it. That’s a big-money fight and I’m not going to waste it for no money. When I get a world title I will gladly defend it against Lucas. That’s a promise.”
