It was reported in The-Age, that former undisputed junior-welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu is thinking about a ring return, feeling that he still has the drawing power to fight the big names in boxing.
Tszyu is said to be close to a decision about his career, but is having trouble finding the proper motivation to return to the ring. He did not expect that it would take him so much time to make his decision with respect to a return, but at the same he does not want fans to think that his prolonging of a decision means he is going to retire from the sport.
"I know that I can bring value to the sport. I've still got the demand and I know that I bring good fights and people will have interesting shows," said Tszyu. "I am reading on my website where people are saying, 'Come on, enough, make a decision.' The answer for these people (is) I'm not trying to be smart, I just don't have the answer. I don't want to make a premature decision and then in six months' time regret it."
"I'm looking for desire. I need to find the reason why I should push myself hard again. I've done everything in this sport; it's not that I want to achieve something extra. I don't need it, it's something more than this."
