Castellon beat the count but was out on his feet. Wiggins drilled the Fort Lauderdale native with body shots before a final left hand out Castellon (17-5-1, 12KOs) down and out for the night.

Wiggins (14-5-3, 8KOs) enjoys a career turnaround after a rough patch that left him with back-to-back draws and a knockout loss to streaking Argentinean welterweight Alberto Palmetto. Three wins have followed including back-to-back knockouts on Don King promoted shows in 2022.

Luis Rodriguez maintained his perfect knockout-to-win ratio following a third-round knockout of Ryan Adams (8-6-1, 6KOs).

The fight was awkward and at times ugly through two rounds, before Toa Alta, Puerto Rico’s Rodriguez (9-0, 9KOs) finally found his way to Adams’s chin. A left hook had Adams out on his feet, with a right hand sending the St. Louis native face-first to the canvas though somehow beating the count. Rodriguez closed the show mere seconds later, scoring another knockdown which produced the stoppage following an eight-count at 2:26 of round three.

Cuban export Raynel Mederos advances to 7-0 (2KOs) following a second-round knockout of Ryan Wilson (1-1, 1KO), The Miami-based junior welterweight dropped Wilson twice in round, first with a right hand and then with body shots. The stoppage came soon thereafter at 1:20 of round two.

Ian Green took a round or so to adapt to his awkward southpaw opponent. Once he hit his stride, the Paterson, New Jersey native outclassed Anthony Lenk en route to a ten-round, unanimous decision victory in their regional middleweight title fight. Judges Steve Weisfeld (99-91), Gloria Martinez-Rizzo (98-92) and Carlos Sucre (98-92) all scored in favor of Green in the opening bout of the PPV.

Lenk came out determined to upset the streaking prospect, jumping out to a strong start in the opening round. Green looked uncomfortable at the start of the bout before settling into a groove. The 28-year-old middleweight was potent with his right hand, hurting a game Lenk on several occasions though never coming close to dropping or stopping the Niagara Falls native.

Lenk has now suffered two straight defeats, falling to 17-9 (7KOs). Green’s career heads in the opposite direction, having now won four straight in improving to 16-2 (11KOs). The feat follows Green’s best win to date, scoring an upset eight-round virtual shutout of previously unbeaten Tyler Howard last November in Las Vegas.

Headlining the show, secondary WBA heavyweight titlist Trevor Bryan (22-0, 15KOs) attempts his second title defense versus heavily favored London native Daniel Dubois (17-1, 16KOs), who has won two straight since a tenth-round knockout to Joe Joyce in his lone career defeat nearly two years ago.
