Later this month, the stage could be set for a future showdown between Youtube star Jake Paul (3-0, 3 KOs) and unbeaten prospect Tommy Fury (6-0, 4 KOs)
On August 29th at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Showtime will stage a pay-per-view event that features both fighters on the card.
In the headliner, Paul will take part in his fourth pro bout against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
And opening up the pay-per-view portion of the card, Fury will face combat sports veteran Anthony Taylor, who happens to be Paul's sparring partner.
Should Paul and Fury win their respective fights - there is a strong possibility of having them collide in the future.
In the last few months, Paul and Fury have trading a lot of harsh words - and some of verbal jabs have been very personal.
Fury has promised to make him pay for every bad word he ever said.
"I'm thick-skinned. I'm a professional athlete. These boys ain't. These boys play games on the internet and run around for a living. I fight hard for a living. I will let my fists do the talking. For every bad thing he has said, he will get a swift right hand for it," Fury told Sky Sports.
"I will break every bone in his face. You don't bring people's loved ones into it. It's a fight. It's nothing to do with them, leave them out of it."
Fury admits that his upcoming United States debut is part of Showtime's plan to build up a fight with Paul.
"They are doing it to build the fight. I'm here and I want the fight. I will take it in a heartbeat. The ball is in his court. It always has been. He's the one who controls everything. It's either yay or nay," Fury said.
"I'm over the talking. Let's get it on. Let's put it to bed. Enough social media chat, which he loves. Let's get in the ring and fight. Stop making excuses, and make the fight next!"
