On March 16th at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Tim Bradley (29-0, 12KOs) will return to the ring for the first time since his victory over Manny Pacquiao this past June. Bradley spoke to us about the upcoming fight on a recent edition of The Boxing Lab, BoxingScene's official audio show.

The WBO welterweight champion said that the fans can expect an exciting fight. He also said that he looks forward to going up against another Freddie Roach trained fighter in Ruslan Provodnikov (22-1, 15KOs).

In the lead up to the Pacquiao fight, Roach trash talked Bradley and called him a dirty fighter on several occasions.  Bradley thinks that is all by design as Roach tries to play mind games with his fighter's opponents. He also said that all Roach is doing is making it worse for his fighter.

"You can expect fireworks. You have Ruslan Provodnikov and Freddie Roach in his corner which adds to it. Freddie had a big mouth and I want to shut him up. He has a lot of animosity towards me but I know he's a good guy. I think he's just trying to play mind games and get under my skin but all he is doing is making it worse for his boy," Bradley told The Boxing Lab.

With the 140 pound division loaded with talent, The Boxing Lab co-host Luis Sandoval asked Bradley if he thought he could get back down to the super lightweight limit where he campaigned for most of his career. The Native Californian said that it would be difficult but he did leave the door open for the right fight.

"That's a good question. Man I don't know. I think it would be a struggle to make 140. I would have to see after this fight.  If I went to the gym I think I could do it but its been a while since I've been down to 140.  It would be tough," Bradley explained.
