Michael Koncz, adviser to WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, says the entire team is pleased and relieved that Antonio Margarito's application for a boxing license was approved by the Texas State Athletic Commission on Thursday. The positive ruling in Texas came shooting down eight days after the athletic commission in California denied Margarito's application for a license. Now that Margarito is licensed, the fight with Pacquiao is a lock for November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

"We're happy that Antonio Margarito got licensed in Texas. It takes a lot of the stress away about whether or not the fight is going to happen," said Koncz. "We made an effort to get him licensed in Nevada in a time of economic need and suffering for the state of Nevada. You know, Nevada is losing all of the tourism and profits every time we fight somewhere else."

A press tour is scheduled to start on Tuesday in Los Angeles, with stops in New York on Wednesday, and, Dallas on Friday.

"We're happy that [Cowboys' owner] Jerry Jones stepped up to the plate, and that he will, again, host a Manny Pacquiao fight," said Koncz. "Now that it's done, we're going to make the best of it."
