Over the last few weeks, Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach has been very vocal - unleashing more than his fair share of verbal jabs at Floyd Mayweather Jr. and members of his camp.

During a recent interview with USA Today, Roach even through Mayweather's past history with domestic violence in the spotlight.

"I said to Floyd one day, 'Don't you think you should be a better role model?' " Roach said. " 'Like it or not, you are a role model because people look up to you and kids in your neighborhood look up to you and they want to be like you. But the way you act on TV — I wouldn't want my kid to be like you.' "

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO for Mayweather Promotions, sees nothing wrong with Roach's trash talking and says their side is not paying attention to Roach's incoming verbal slams.

“Freddie Roach is just trying to promote his fighter,” Ellerbe said to the Las Vegas Review Journal. “He’s just doing his job. Our job is to not pay any attention to what they say and just focus on getting ready to fight come May 2.”
