Light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (28-0-1, 25 KOs), who holds three major belts in his weight class – Super WBA, WBO and IBF - will hit Moscow this coming Tuesday with the intention of bringing some clarity regarding his upcoming bout in the Russian capital.
Accompanied by his manager Egis Klimas and his promoter Kathy Duva of Main Events, Kovalev will take part in negotiations with the local TV bosses and possible sponsors to set the date and to solidify details of his long-awaited homecoming.
Two days after that Team Kovalev will hold a presser at the “National” hotel in the very center of the city. The champion will discuss his latest TKO win over Nadjib Mohammedi and, most importantly, will announce the certain date of his very next fight. Media is invited to take part in the presser and to get on hand with the state’s biggest active boxing star.
The tentative date of his return is November 28th.
