Sven Fornling (10-1, 6 KOs) says he will KO his domestic rival Naim Terbunja (10-1, 1 KO) when they meet for the Swedish Light Heavyweight Championship on Friday, December 9 at the Rosvalla Arena in Nyköping, Sweden.

The Malmo boxer is full of confidence ahead of his title clash with 2008 Olympian from Linköping, and has even predicted with what punch he will end the fight.

‘’I’ve never been more certain of anything in my life,’’ says Fornling. ‘’Naim has never fought eight-rounds before, and I must say, I have a hard time seeing him last the distance. I predict a late KO, probably from an uppercut!’

The 27 year-old has also hit back at claims from Terbunja questioning his punching power, and says winning the Swedish title would prove his career is heading in the direction.

‘’I think it’s funny that he would mention my lack of power seeing as I have a 600% better knockout ratio than him, but let’s see how he feels when he wakes up after the fight is over.

‘’In boxing, every fight is important, but this one is extra special. Winning this fight would prove I am on the right path, and of course it would feel great to have the Swedish belt around my waist. I wouldn’t take it off until after Christmas,'' he says.

Fornling and Terbunja meet for the Swedish Light Heavyweight title on the undercard of Erik Skoglund’s WBA International Light Heavyweight Championship test against ‘The Albanian Warrior’ Timy Shala.
