According to World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman, the camps of WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack (19-1-1, 12KOs) and mandatory challenger George Groves (21-2, 16KOs) informed the sanctioning body that September 12th has been set down as the rescheduled date for their showdown.

The bout, which was originally scheduled to take place next month, will now fall on Floyd Mayweather's Showtime Pay-Per-View undercard at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather is likely facing Andre Berto.

"This morning the camps of the two fighters have notified of their agreement, [and the fight] will be the support for Floyd," Sulaiman told ESPN Deportes. "I think it's a dangerous fight for both, very hard."

Another fight heading for that card, as previously reported on BoxingScene.com, is the WBO super featherweight title rematch between champion Roman 'Rocky' Martinez and challenger Orlando Salido.
